Stay Tuned for Radio DADAA!

DADAA will be launching a digital radio station.

DADAA is excited to announce that Radio DADAA has received 3-year funding through the Australian Government’s Department of Social Services Information Linkages and Capacity Building Program.

Community radio can play a vital role in both building community: enabling people to share their own experiences and stories and connect with others. This project aims to build an inclusive, socially impactful radio station that reflects and elevates the rich diversity of voices of disability within the broader community. It will also provide skills development opportunities to ensure sustainability into the future.

Over the past few years, DADAA has been focused on growing digital capability in our communities. Together with our current podcast project, Unfiltered, and our filmmaking project, In Frame, Radio DADAA will build upon these digital gains.

We will be working with community and media partners, to bring diverse programming, including podcasts, music, and interviews, to audiences. By the end of the project, we aim to be broadcasting up to 8 programmes each day under the direction of a dedicated producer.

DADAA respectfully acknowledges the Whadjuk and Yued people of the Noongar nation and the Southern Yamatji Peoples, the traditional owners of the lands upon which DADAA operates. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
